A small, passionate team of renewable energy consultants seeking to bring the benefits of the nation's green energy transition to Connecticut towns.
Supply-side cost reduction. We secure renewable energy incentives for local governments through our physical portfolio of green energy projects.
We're partnered with the nation's most experienced developers and law team, but maintain a selective portfolio focused on customer satisfaction.
Connecticut's Non-Residential Renewable Energy Solutions Program helps state, municipal, and agricultural customers offset the cost of electricity. To receive the benefits, customers must have their accounts paired to a renewable energy source. Silver Brook Energy maintains a portfolio of commercial solar projects in various stages of production ready to be paired. The customer receives a one-time lump sum payment, or a quarterly annuity payment paid over the lifespan of the renewable energy facility.
Solar arrays work by absorbing energy from sunlight into photovoltaic cells, creating electrical charges that move in response to an internal electrical field causing electricity to flow. Solar energy production is an important component in reducing Connecticut's carbon footprint. Silver Brook originates and develops large-scale, grid-connected solar arrays. We manage all aspects of commercial solar projects—from an initial energy audit through "permission to operate" certification, and everything in-between.
Battery energy storage systems are an integral part of Connecticut's renewable energy transition—storing green energy during times when renewable energy production is active, and discharging that energy into the electrical gird during peak consumption periods. Silver Brook Energy is engaged in originating and developing this important bridge in addressing the intermittent nature of solar and wind power generation.
Silver Brook Energy provides services across Connecticut. We work directly with cities, towns, and agricultural customers who receive energy through Eversource or United Illuminating to reduce their electrical expenses.
